We are thrilled to announce the resumption of our after-school computer programme for secondary school girls in Ondo under the W.TEC Academy initiative!
This year, the programme is taking an exciting leap forward as the girls dive into engaging classes on Electronics and Renewable Energy, alongside Scratch programming. This expansion is inspired by the award-winning syllabus from our MakeHer Space Programme in Northern Nigeria—a groundbreaking initiative that earned W.TEC numerous accolades, including a prestigious presidential award.
By integrating sustainable and green energy solutions into their curriculum, the girls are not only developing hands-on technical skills but also gaining a deeper appreciation for renewable energy. This knowledge will empower them to leverage clean energy technologies and contribute to a greener, more sustainable future.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible partners, F5 and the Ondo State Ministry of Youth Development and Education, for their unwavering support. Their commitment to empowering young girls with technology-driven skills continues to make a lasting impact as we kick off the 2025 academic year.
Stay tuned for more updates on how these young innovators are shaping the future with tech and sustainability!
