At the Women’s Technology Empowerment Centre (W.TEC), we believe that when girls are given access, encouragement, and opportunity, they don’t just imagine the future — they build it. Across Nigeria, thousands of girls have the curiosity, talent, and determination to thrive in technology and STEM fields. What they often lack is access. Your support helps us close that gap.
Why Your Support Matters
Girl-focused programmes are not a luxury; they are a necessity. From our She Creates Camp to early exposure programmes and digital skills initiatives, W.TEC designs safe, practical, and inspiring learning experiences that help girls build confidence, technical skills, and leadership capacity. These programmes are intentionally subsidised so that girls from diverse socio-economic backgrounds can participate — especially those who would otherwise be left out.
This is where your support becomes powerful. A single donation may seem small on its own, but when combined with the generosity of others, it helps us reduce participation costs, provide learning materials, cover facilitators’ fees, and offer scholarships to girls who need them most. Many of our participants are attending their very first STEM programme — and for some, it becomes the spark that shapes their career path.
