On November 28, 2025, the Women’s Technology Empowerment Centre (W.TEC) hosted a heart-warming She Can with ICT Alumnae Reunion via Google Meet, bringing together remarkable women who have been part of the programme over the years. Held from 2:00–3:00pm, the one-hour virtual gathering fully embodied its theme: Connect. Celebrate. Reunite.
The session opened with a warm welcome and reflections on the journeys of the alumnae since graduation. It was a moment to recognise growth, resilience, and the diverse paths participants have taken, while celebrating the shared foundation built through the She Can with ICT programme.
As the conversation unfolded, alumnae shared personal and professional updates—career progress, entrepreneurial ventures, and community contributions—highlighting the lasting value of the digital and leadership skills gained through the programme. These stories underscored the ripple effect of investing in women and girls.
A key highlight of the reunion was the announcement that She Can with ICT is being repositioned as one of W.TEC’s centrepiece programmes, with a renewed focus on strengthening and intentionally engaging its alumni network. As part of W.TEC’s strategic planning, alumnae will play a more active role—contributing insights, mentorship, advocacy, and collaboration that help shape the future direction of the organisation’s work.
The reunion also created space for reconnection, as alumnae re-engaged with one another, exchanged encouragement, and reaffirmed the importance of community and collective growth. The energy in the room reflected a shared commitment to staying connected and supporting one another beyond the programme.
The session closed on a celebratory note, honouring the impact the She Can with ICT alumnae continue to create and reaffirming W.TEC’s commitment to walking with them beyond graduation.
