Recently, the W.TEC team had the absolute pleasure of attending a heartwarming victory lap ceremony and impact presentation hosted by Alaro City in Epe. The special event was held in honor of the brilliant young girls from the Alaro City host community whom the organization generously sponsored to attend our recent She Creates Camp.
A Shining Star Among Us
The entire contingent of sponsored girls truly made us proud, but a major highlight of the day was celebrating Miss Barakat Akibu. Selected from the host community, Barakat dazzled everyone by emerging as the overall best participant of the entire camp! Her dedication, creativity, and eagerness to learn serve as a massive inspiration to us all.
Mentorship, Rewards, and Looking Ahead
Hosted right at the Alaro City office, the celebratory event was an inspiring afternoon filled with goodwill messages and invaluable mentoring from the Alaro City team. To sweeten the celebration, the team went a step further by awarding special prizes to the top three participants of the contingent, recognizing their hard work and excellence.
One of the most beautiful parts of the ceremony was hearing directly from the girls. They confidently took the stage to share the amazing tech and leadership skills they acquired during the camp, painting a vivid picture of how they plan to apply these newfound abilities to their future endeavors.
The atmosphere was deeply emotional as their parents also took the floor, expressing immense gratitude to Alaro City for providing such a life-changing opportunity for their daughters.
