[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We marked the 2020 International Women’s Day with a couple of events in Offa and Ilorin in Kwara State. These impactful events were led by our the handlers of our after-school computer programme for girls in Kwara State who hosted these exciting programmes over a period of one week across the state.

Ilorin – Kwara State
One of our #IWD2020 events in Ilorin, one of them was a brief panelist session held with the girls at Government Girls Secondary School Oko- Erin in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Our Programs Manager, Maryam Abdulsalam and Tolulope Ibiyeye the Co.ordinator of W.TEC Academy, Kwara State anchored the event alongside senior female officials of the school.
The session centered on teaching the girls the main reality of the paths to success which included goal setting, persistence, resilience, hardworking, focus driven and being law abiding. They assured the girls that if they abide by these principles they stand a better chance to making all their dreams come true.

Offa – Kwara State
In collaboration with St Claires girls Grammer school Offa our team celebrated the International women’s day on the 10th of March, 2020 with a talk session with the girls. During the session, the girls were thought about many great women who have done great things and who still are doing great things in our society. They were also advised to work hard and be dedicated if they wished to make the kind of impact great women they admire, have made on our society.
The girls also were intimated with the different professions in the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) field, reminding them that as females, the sky is not the limit but their stepping stone.

Lagos State
In Lagos State our Programs Manager @shadebraimoh gave an insightful speech at an #IWD2020 event held by @aaafoundationng where she stressed the need for all women to embrace technology to scale-up and market their business.
In other for them to contribute immensely to the socio-economic development of our society.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
