W.TEC's – Black Tuesday Message

The Women’s Technology Empowerment Centre (W.TEC) condemns in strong terms the violence against the peaceful #EndSARS – protesters across Nigeria and especially at the Lagos – Lekki Toll Gate last night, Tuesday October 20th, 2020.
This deliberate and cold-hearted attack of peaceful protesters, which resulted in the murder of young Nigerians, is a clear violation of the fundamental human right to peaceful protest.
We commiserate with the families who lost their loved ones in this struggle for our country. Our thoughts and prayers goes out to them at his point and wish our injured heroes a speedy recovery.
We stand firm with like-minded Nigerians as we strive for justice for the victims, bringing the culpable to book and reforms for a better country where rule of law prevails.
