About the IT4ALL programme
The “Inclusive Technology for All (IT4All)” is a technology-based learning initiative for students with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Students participate in weekly workshops, which challenge them to create and solve technology inspired tasks. By so doing, they develop digital and creative skills and are better prepared for the 21st century information technology-centered society.

About the Partner Organisation
IT4ALL is a partnership of the Children’s Developmental Centre (CDC) and the Women’s Technology Empowerment Centre (W.TEC),
The Children’s Developmental Centre (CDC) is a service-oriented, not-for-profit organisation, dedicated in providing a broad range of educational and support services for children, young people with developmental disabilities (including visual and hearing impairments, Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome) and their families within Nigeria. The centre is developing a local solution to a global problem and is a place where children and young people with developmental disabilities have a “Sense of Belonging”.
It is through the various collaborations and partnerships that CDC, has been able to support children, especially young adults, who have to use what they have, to give the best they can give, that is the real success of the children and the young adults we serve. CDC is committed to ensuring that our clients are able to strive and thrive through making their own decisions, what is being done in their own best interest at the same time being given the same opportunities as everyone else. These are rights that all of us struggle and identify with every day. The CDC also includes projects dotted around the Nation
The Women’s Technology Empowerment Centre (W.TEC) is a Nigerian nonprofit organisation committed to building a more inclusive technology ecosystem, with the next generation of women technology creators, entrepreneurs and leaders. Our programmes include Science, Technology and Design-themed bootcamps and afterschool clubs for girls and other under-represented youth. In 2018, our work has expanded to explore how technology can improve learning outcomes and better integrate students with
developmental disabilities and special needs, such as Autism and Down’s syndrome.
