ZINA DURU

– Chairperson I

Zina Duru is a Leader working at the intersection of Social development, Communications and Strategy. Her work in strategy and development is centered around empowering the lives of young people and women in marginalized communities by democratizing access to multifaceted opportunities that allow them realize their untapped potential, further enabling them to thrive authentically, contributing to societal prosperity. Currently, she is the Team Lead of Communications and Operations at Lead for Good Africa, a social enterprise based in Lagos, Nigeria. Here, she creates unique communication strategies that increase brand engagement and exposure, as well as designs and executes projects that drives positive impact. Zina is passionate about Africa’s Human Capital, she believes in the transformative power of each individual’s abilities, which, when unleashed can trigger profound change. She employs this conviction into diverse community projects she participates  in, actively seeking innovative solutions to societal challenges that impede growth, in line with Sustainable Development Goals 1-5 and 17. Above all, she is always willing to learn and serve.

Nifesimi Oso - Programmes Assistant, WTEC

NIFESIMI OSO

– Chairperson II

Oluwanifesimi Oso is a Tech Enthusiast, she works at The Women Technology Empowerment Center as a Programme Assistant, she is an Alumnae of WTEC’s she creates camp. Nifesimi is also a co-host on She talks tech radio show. She enjoys volunteering and attending programs that Improves personal development. Nifesimi is a graduate of Accounting from Yabateach and currently studying to get a degree in Computer science. 

 

CHIDERA ELIZABETH IRONSI

– Secretary

Ironsi Chidera Elizabeth is a result driven and people-oriented individual. She has a strong passion for diversity and equality among women and the girl child. She is a graduate of Economics from Augustine University Ilara-Epe Lagos. She is currently a corps member serving in Lagos and works as an Insurance Underwriter at International Energy Insurance Plc, Victoria Island Lagos. She enjoys dancing and writing.

 

JENNIFER IMONICHE 

– Council Member

Imoniche Jennifer is currently a student at the Federal University of Oye Ekiti. A proud undergraduate who was inspired to pursue a career in Mathematics Education after having to experience how it feels to be involved in a tech environment. She loves teaching and calculating thus explains The field she is at currently.

 

KHADIJAT KAREEM

– Council Member

Khadijat Kareem is currently a NewsReporter at HiT FM Calabar and a recent graduate of Food Technology from the University of Ìbàdàn.

She is also a project and a community manager who holds selflessness in high esteem.

PRECIOUS TOLUWANI OGUNBIYI 

– Council Member

Toluwani Precious Ogunbiyi is an Agricultural Economist driven by a deep passion and commitment to end world hunger.

She is currently an advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 1(No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 4 (Quality Education). 

She spends most of her free time as a volunteer and valued member of various impact driven global and national organizations. 

She is currently; A member of the girl advisory council of Women’s Technology Empowerment Center (WTEC), A Kectil Colleague, A participant of the 8th Cohort of African Rebirth, An SDG Advocate with the AlphaZULU Advocates, and an ambassador in Theirworld.

From the skills and knowledge gained from these organizations, she teaches the younger generation to also become world changers. As her personal mission statement goes; “Changing the world, one person at a time”.

She is a determined and dogged fellow who would never stop or quit until her vision for the world is achieved.
