In line with our mission to enhance access to technology education and inspire digital creativity among students, the Women’s Technology Empowerment Centre (W.TEC) proudly donated a 50-inch Smart TV to Akure High School, one of our long-standing partners in the W.TEC Academy after-school computer programme.
This thoughtful contribution aims to enrich classroom learning experiences, making technology lessons more engaging, interactive, and impactful. With this Smart TV, students can now explore digital content more vividly — from coding tutorials and tech documentaries to collaborative projects that encourage problem-solving and innovation.
For W.TEC, this donation is more than just providing equipment — it’s about empowering classrooms with the tools to inspire curiosity and creativity. By integrating modern technology into learning environments, we are helping students build vital digital skills that prepare them for a future driven by innovation.
Together with our partner schools, we’re ensuring that no student is left behind in the digital revolution.
At W.TEC, we remain committed to building a future where technology empowers every student — one screen, one classroom, and one community at a time.
