March 14, 2025 – In commemoration of International Women’s Day 2025, the Innocent Chukwuma Empowerment Foundation (ICCEF) in partnership with the Women’s Technology Empowerment Centre (W.TEC) successfully hosted a high-impact webinar titled “Innovate, Include, Inspire: Technology for Gender Equality.”
The virtual event, which attracted 100 participants, featured dynamic discussions on the critical role of technology in advancing gender equality. The interactive session covered key topics, including:
- Social Media for Business
- Leveraging Social Media for Marketing
- Cybersecurity Awareness
- Navigating Online Spaces Safely
The session was moderated by Dr. Josephine Effah Chukwuma, Executive Chair of ICCEF, alongside Kafilat Buhari, ensuring an engaging and insightful dialogue.
Key Highlights
One of the standout moments of the event was the impactful session on Digital Marketing led by Praise Okoye, which received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants who shared testimonials on its relevance to their businesses and professional growth.
Additionally, Adenubi Adeola, a Cybersecurity Analyst, delivered an engaging session that deeply resonated with participants. The discussions were so interactive and enriching that the session extended beyond the scheduled time, demonstrating the high level of interest and engagement.
As part of the International Women’s Day #AccelerateAction movement, ICCEF and W.TEC reaffirmed their commitment to equipping women with essential technological skills to drive gender inclusivity and economic independence.
