Vote For W.TEC To Win 2021 WSIS Prizes

We are glad to announce the nomination of W.TEC’s MakeHER Space project for the coveted 2021 #WSISPrizes in the Capacity Building Category, the 4th category for the awards. Our MakeHER Space Project made the shortlist of 360 nominees out of 1,270 projects submitted from all over the world. To win the award you must emerge with the highest votes in your category.
The MakeHer Spaces project is a collaborative initiative of W.TEC with Google to train selected girls and women to create technology and engineering-based solutions that solve problems in their communities, provide information about career options and exposes them to women working successfully in STEAM.
The programme caters for young women and grils who are 10 to 17 years (in school ) and 18 to 25 years (out of school).  from lower-income households living in the communities where woman have much less opportunities. Due to the out break of the pandemic, sessions of the programme has since been held virtually for the mean time. Till date from May 2020, the programme has held online cohorts through which over 100 ladies and girls has been trainined in numerous ICT skills.
Thus we call on all our friends to support W.TEC’s bid to win the 2021 WSIS Prizes by voting and publising our campaign by sharing with your networks. The deadline for casting of votes is 31st March 2021.

4.) Check your email to confirm your account registration and follow
the link to complete voting.
5.) Click on the number 4 button to get to Category 4 nominees.
Scroll down to the 8th nominee – MakeHER Space and click it.
