Celebrating the Graduates of Our Ikorodu Digital Skills Programme
After three transformative months, W.TEC’s Digital Skills Programme in Ikorodu has officially come to an end! We are immensely proud of the incredible female entrepreneurs who dedicated themselves to learning the tools needed to scale their businesses.
Organized under W.TEC’s She Can With ICT initiative in collaboration with the IsHK Tolaram Foundation, this intensive programme was designed to help SME owners (aged 18–35) embrace digital innovation. Hosted at the SCAPEIN Hall in Igbogbo, the program created a collaborative environment where participants gained hands-on experience in:
- Digital Marketing & Content Strategy
- Graphic Design Software
- Free Video Editing Tools
- SME Business Strategies
Take Sadiat Jones as an example. She walked into this programme with a small business and a big dream, and walked out with the practical skills to build it into something greater. For Sadiat and her peers, this training didn’t just change what they know—it changed what they believe is possible for themselves.
The Journey Doesn’t End Here
Many of these women still face real barriers, from transportation costs to limited access to the tools, mentorship, and funding needed to truly unlock their potential. Without continued support, the most powerful training in the world becomes a fleeting moment instead of a lasting movement.
We Need Your Support
We are looking for corporate organizations, foundations, and individuals ready to invest in what comes next. We need partners and sponsors to provide funding, grants, and resources to help these women build sustainable businesses. Your support will also allow W.TEC to replicate this programme in more underserved communities across Nigeria. Because success stories like Sadiat’s shouldn’t be the exception—they should be the standard.
A massive thank you to our incredible partners who made this cohort a reality: Ishk Tolaram Foundation, Talent Plus Resource, and Scapein (for providing the beautiful training space).
